Imagine finding the perfect shirt, pants, or shoes online, only to hesitate at checkout. "Will it fit?" "What if I order the wrong size and have to deal with returns?" This is the all too common dilemma for online clothing shoppers. Many are unsure of their exact measurements (only 54% of 500 US shoppers we surveyed claimed to know them!), and generic size charts often fall short. The result? Frustrated customers, unwanted returns, and ultimately, a less enjoyable shopping experience.

We set out to eliminate the sizing guesswork with our innovative virtual fitting web-based app. Designed for convenience and accuracy, our app brings the fitting room to the customer's home. Here's how shoppers now find their ideal fit:
One Click to Confidence: On their favorite brand's product page, customers simply tap "Find My Size."
Quick & Easy Setup: A friendly tutorial guides them through entering their height, gender, and preferred fit.
Effortless Self-Measurement: With a smartphone placed on the floor against a wall, a slight tilt, arms raised, and a slow spin, the app captures precise body measurements.
We rigorously tested our technology across various scenarios – different camera angles, clothing types worn during scans (from form-fitting to relaxed), and a range of phone models – to guarantee unparalleled accuracy. Our research confirmed the demand: 70% of shoppers told us a sizing app would significantly improve their confidence in buying online.

With a clear problem statement and validated demand, our focus shifted to ensuring the virtual fitting app delivered accuracy and a seamless user experience. We undertook a rigorous, multi-faceted user testing protocol, meticulously examining every variable that could influence measurement precision:
Camera Angle Optimization: We conducted extensive tests to determine the optimal smartphone placement and tilt, ensuring consistent and reliable body capture regardless of the user's home environment.
Clothing Impact Analysis: Understanding that users would not always scan in ideal conditions, we tested the app's performance with various clothing types—from form-fitting garments and underwear to more relaxed fits—to account for and mitigate potential distortions.
Device Compatibility: We tested across a wide range of smartphone models to guarantee consistent performance and measurement accuracy, regardless of device specifics.
Real-World Accuracy Validation: Crucially, we cross-referenced the app's generated measurements against the actual sizes of clothes our testers comfortably wore, performing continuous calibration and refinement until the digital fit mirrored the real-world experience with exceptional precision.
